Blue John is a rare sort of banded fluorite only found in Derbyshire in the UK. Originally discovered by the Romans mining now continues on a small scale in Treak cliff cavern.

Lovely pear shaped rare Blue John stone claw set on a sterling silver pendant with Celtic knot work chain. The chain measures 18 inches and the Amulet is 1 3/4 inches (4cm) long.
