PICTURE - I took this picture in August 2021 at a Classic Car Rally in East Sussex

HISTORY - The Morris Eight was produced from 1935 to 1948 and was replaced by the Morris Minor. There were three generations, Series 1 & 2 and then unaccountably Series E in 1938 which this car is. The vehicle had a 4 cylinder 918cc engine giving a 28bhp with a four speed gear box and was available in 2 or 4 door saloon or open top tourer. The van version was known as a Series Z and only had a three speed gearbox.
