I am blessed to live next to the beautiful malvern common with an unspoilt view of the Malvern Hills. I take inspiration from the landscape around me; often incorporating elements from nature in to my work.

Full description

This is a simple yet elegant design made up of Yin & Yang Sandalwood and Bodhi Seed.

Two interconnected loops both containing 54 mala beads along with one cream Bodhi seed marker on each loop. The one loop contains a handmade tassel and a carved bodhi seed lotus flower as the guru bead. The other loop has a simple knotted closure. 8mm wooden beads are used in this design.

A Pureland Mala consists of two interconnected loops of mala beads, each containing 54 beads and marker beads. You hold one circle in one hand and one in the other. On one of the circles you might say 4 Nembutsu for each bead. Then on the other circle you you would count one bead for every time you have done a complete circle with the other hand. That would give you a total of 11,664 Nembutsu in one sitting! For more information on how to use one do visit my website.
