A patchwork pen using reclaimed pieces of wood, ebony, ash, pine, mahogany types...when it was on the lathe some piece broke, so repaired with sawdust and super glue, which gives a fantastic patiner...a really unique pen...and you can see the refill and how the top slides up to allow the refill to be screwed in...the top is then slid back on and a twist mechanism allows the top to turn and push the ballpoint in or out.... sanded smooth, button polish then carnauba wax
