Adorable Yellow Crowned Amazon Parrot, Needle felted bird decoration. This rainbow bird is perfect gift for bird lovers and lovers colour. This bird ornament has gorgeous green plumage and is crowned with a yellow "hat" of feathers above it's brow, truly a King in the bird world
Yellow Crowned Amazon Parrots hail from South America. Also known as yellow headed or yellow fronted Amazons. They are known to have a playful personality and make great pets. If you are allergic to feathers like me, this bird makes a wonderful alternative to the real thing.
This bird is part of the Rainbow Collection, a collection of exotic birds by feltmeupdesigns using all the colours I rarely get to use. A chance to play and experiment with different colours and techniques to best represent some of my favourite bird species from around the world.
