HISTORY.

The Jaguar XJS was introduced in 1975 as a more sophisticated replacement for the E-Type leaning more to being a Grand Tourer rather than a sports car. It stayed in production until 1996 with major updates in 1981 and 1991. It was available in two engine sizes the 3.6litre straight six cylinder and a 5.3litre V12 although both of these were uprated in 1991 to 4,0l and 6.0l respectively; the body was either a coupe, targa or convertible although there were a few conversions to a mini estate by specialist companies.

(We photograph and design the illustrations we use on our products. Any trade marks, or names used are for descriptive purposes only and DO NOT imply any connection with the companies involved and we have no intention of impugning their brand.)
