Oak is one of our native durable hardwood trees. I wanted to utilise the weigh with a piece of metal forged hardware to create a practical doorstop that has its own unique character.

Blacksmith forged ring and staple doorstop made of sustainable sourced English Oak
Weigh 3kg, 30cm (12") tall and 12.5cm (5") wide approx.

Made from sustainably sourced Oak trees that I have personally sawmilled into suitable pieces to show the natural beauty of the wood grain. Also fitted with a steel staple and ring that I have blacksmith forged.
No part of this product is made from reclaimed timber or premade factory pressed steel, they are pure artisan craftwork.
Oak can sometimes form checks or small cracks, this is a natural formation and part of its character it does not affect its function. Therefore each doorstop is unique and may vary from the photos shown.
Boiled linseed oil finish. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
Oak is very durable but if left outside for prolonged periods please bear in mind that the grain appearance may fade or check from exposure to sunlight and rain just like other outdoor furniture and fencing this is perfectly normal.
