This honey jar was chosen by Folksy fir the summer exhibition : ) MADE To ORDER handmade ceramic honey jar with a little brown bear and red gingham check plus a wooden honey drizzler .
PLEASE NOTE my made to order pieces take a while to make (6 to 8 weeks) and each vary slightly from the photographs.
The pieces are hand thrown on my potter's wheel. A little handmodelled whimsical bear and tree stump are added, and tiny paw prints pushed into the clay. Once bisque fired the pieces are hand painted to incorporate a red gingham check and glazed before their final firing.

Each piece of pottery I make is hand-made from a ball of clay and they developed a one off character of their own.
