When I lived in Wiltshire this was a favourite place for sketching only a short distance away.
Also a great place for walking, it was somewhere I knew very well.
I loved the way the hill was folded and contoured, with white chalk tracks showing up like linear designs.

Full description
The bold design of this black and white linocut would make a great focal point for any room.
It depicts a hill near Westbury in Wiltshire where the downs fall steeply to the fields below. There is a great sense of movement in the sky, which is echoed by the linear patterns across the hillside and the continuing textures in the foreground.
Image size: 20cm x 20cm. Edition of 15, 3 available.
Supplied unframed and packed flat for shipping.
