These cards are part of my 'Colours of Berwick' Collection, which aims to capture the spirit of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. I chose landmarks with a story to tell about the town and then hand-drew the illustrations in black ink before adding a splash of digital colour to give a fresh, modern feel. This set of four cards includes illustrations of the Victorian lighthouse, re-purposed Grade II-listed former public toilet, parts of the town’s Elizabethan fortifications and the imposing Guildhall. These cards hopefully give you a flavour of what makes the town so unique! I include a small info card with each order that lists each landmark in the series and why it is interesting.
