Full description
This luminous, floating chalcedony slider necklace is simple yet beautiful and will complement any look. I think it would make a perfect wedding necklace, but equally it can be worn daily with any outfit. The stone's natural ability to reflect light from within is not unlike a moonstone's, creating a gentle milky blue and pink tones as the light hits it. And did you know that the spiritual properties of chalcedony include calming, soothing and bringing inner peace as well as tranquility to the wearer.
These necklaces are made to order. I set each stone by hand in its bespoke sterling silver setting. A delicate sterling silver box chain then passes twice through the back so that the pendant slides smoothly along it. The necklace is finished with a delicate round clasp.
I'm more than happy to make same necklace, but with a gemstone of your choice, either 8mm or smaller, so do contact me if that's what you would like.
There are three lengths available:
43cm - almost 17in
46cm - just over 18in
50cm - 19.7in
The rose cut faceted chalcedony cabochon is 8mm in diameter, set in a setting 9.2mm in diameter and 6.8mm deep. The whole pendant is 9.3mm deep and has a nice weight to it.
It will arrive very nicely packaged.
