Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a little elephant made from lovely Green glass, two different types.
The tusk is white with a shimmer and it has a wrinkled trunk as all elephants do. For an eye I have used a twinkling piece of dichroic glass.
The elephant looks lovely hanging in the window where it catches the light. It hangs from a little silver chain which is securely attached to the top of the elephant.
It is 9cm wide and 8 high.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
This will make a wonderful present especially for a child but please note that it is made of fragile glass and is not a toy but an ornament.
I do make this in lots of different colours, it just depends which of my lovely glass I fancy most when I start !
Please ask if you would like another colour and I will make one for you.
