My art is made with preloved materials so, like this phoenix, they rise up to create something new from something old.
Inspired by an unwanted bird pendant this piece shows a mythical phoenix bird rising from the flames, or perhaps it's just a bird with huge tail feathers in vibrant oranges, golds, and reds. Small pieces of remnant fabrics are layered to create a bird in flight.
May be you like birds, or mythical creatures. Maybe you've risen from your own personal struggle, or know someone who has. What ever draws you to it this piece is an absolute one off, original piece destined to brighten up someone's home.
The frame is A4, has real glass and can either be hung on the wall or stand freely on a shelf. The collage itself is 9" x 6". The picture comes boxed.
To reduce my carbon footprint all postal packing materials are recycled.
