'You are So awesome'
This is a hand-sculpted and carved unique object of art. Made in England by artist ieva, focusing on the emotional and tactile quality of the material.
size 10X4X5 cm
Birds – each individually made by hand, while embracing a slow “Here and Now” mindful practice. Imbued with hope, with the intention to help achieve the feeling of soothing comfort and encourage self-love. They are used as an aide to achieve a grounding feeling when handled. It is a functional object that also serves as a miniature piece of art.
Created in red terracotta clay it is burnished with a river stone. Followed by a single firing at 1100C in an electric pottery kiln. This bird is safe to wash with water. Can be disinfected with antibacterial liquids and wipes.
This terracotta bird has an engraved message on its wing that reads ''You are So awesome'' and a semicolon symbol of hope engraved on its chest.
