I enjoy creating from wood and hope you will enjoy your choice. I use a parcel service and they usually deliver within 3-4 days, if your purchase is urgent phone me and for a little more I can send next day.
I strive to recycle, the wood has been accumulated and in some cases donated over many years and this helps to keep prices reasonable. I also make my own packages using salvaged cardboard - quite interesting as well!. The packaging tape and minimal bubble wrap sadly cannot be reused.
It evolved form my other standard mushrooms, I was thinking aboiyt making needle cases and hence have combined both, quite a complex task to thread wood but enjoyable

Full description
A lovely beech mushroom 8 cm diameter (3.25"). I have just sealed the cap as some find polished ones slippery. I have aded a groove to the edge for a silcone band or similar to hold your work in place. This one has a removable handle in which to store needles. The handle has thread cut in wood and matching hardwood threaded pin to match, ( cutting threads on metal is so much easier!) The beech cap was previously an old kitchen worktop. the handle is oak with wax finish.
If its for a gift ( or just you)I can add a name to the handle using pyrography at no cost
Designed by Les Barrow in I have a small workshop nr the New Forest
