I was going to put this piece in with another bundle but decided it was best left to its own devices, given how unusual and show-stopping it is. It's long and relatively narrow in shape but will yield a decent amount of fabric for all kinds of craft projects.

Where to start with this very unusual length of rescued fabric? It's substantial - a good thick craft weight cotton with a smooth surface. The design is pretty out there: a pink background with darker pink and yellow circles and a network of overlaid gold "veins" throughout. It might well be wax print, although there are no selvage marks. Please note there are some faint needle holes where I unpicked a couple of puzzling hems.
The piece measures 1.5m by 52cm.
