A friend wanted a thicker cardigan for her baby to wear in the car seat as coats are not recommended now. I liked the simplicity of this pattern and knew that by using Alpaca yarn it would be warm.

Full description
This jacket is hand knitted in a luxurious alpaca yarn. It is worked in garter stitch throughout and because two strands are used together it is thicker than normal, but quite light and warm. It would make an ideal car coat for travelling in a baby seat. The colour of the yarn is an aqua/grey mix. It has a round neck and fastens at the front five matching buttons.
The yarn is 100% Alpaca and should be hand washed.
The pattern size used is for a 6-9 month old baby. It measures 56cm round the chest, 28 cm long and the sleeve seam is 19cm.
