Full description
This is a linocut / screen print entitled 'Midnight Fox' printed in orange, grey and black.
I love foxes. Beautiful and rather illusive creatures. I always feel very fortunate to spot one where I live, usually once the sun has started to go down. One regularly trots up and down our garden (probably every day), and very occasionally I see them.
This print is actually one of our garden (slightly altered and tidied up!), with the fox on their travels and the moon shining on some of the tree branches. They are usually at this point on their journey where I spot them from the back windows of the house, sometime between 8pm and midnight.
Orange, grey, teal, and black inks on Cyclux Offset recycled 300gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 50, signed, stamped, titled and numbered.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
The print measures H31xW22cm.
Hand-printed by myself in my studio in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
All prints will be posted unframed, and securely in a card tube and sent by first-class Royal Mail Signed-For post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
