I have been tatting for many years after being taught by my Aunt, it is something that I can just pick up and do anywhere and I have spent many happy hours on this particular craft.

Full description

Tatting is an intricate form of knotted lace made with a small shuttle. Here a Cross pattern has been created with a blue centre and cream edging finished with a multi stranded loose cotton tail. This is a lovely item to save your place in your favourite book, and would also make a charming present ideal for a christening, confirmation or even wedding. This pattern has been designed by me. Approximate measurements are six and three quarter inches (17 cm) long by two and a half inches (6.5 cm) at the widest point. Bookmark will come presented on a card backing wrapped in clear cellophane it can be released from the backing by snipping the cotton on the rear of the card. Created in a smoke and pet free home.
