Welcome to my Folksy shop.
My great passion is nature in all her forms . I try through my artwork to give a feeling of the beauty and mystery of landscapes animal and birds .
Using natural products is important , so wool ,wood ,silk ,cotton and linen are my main supplies .
I live in York , so am surrounded by the beautiful landscape and coastline of the Yorkshire Dales and Moors .
I have pieces at sale price , these are items from older collections , but still beautiful!

Full description
In a 5.5 inch bamboo embroidery hoop.
Felted into pre felted wool , a starfish in a rock pool.
The starfish is wool felted with hand embroidered french knots on the arms.
I have repurposed cotton mesh that was around a garlic bulb , to give a feeling of the foam that collects in a rock pool. Hand embroidery and an assortment of beads give the texture of seaweed and sand .
A lovely artwork for a coastal themed decor.
