Mixing a beautiful piece of wood with stained glass. What’s not to like? Place on a window sill and let the sunshine cast its magic with its dancing colours. Inspired by a Rothko painting, the stained glass will never fade.
The surround wood is made from local naturally felled elm which has been treated with a mix of oil and a touch of stain to bring out the beautiful natural grain. The stained glass insert uses the traditional Tiffany method of copper foiling each piece of hand cut glass and soldering together. It is finished with a wax polish.
It measures 15.5 cm height by 11.5cm at its widest point.
