PHOTOGRAPH - I took this photograph at a Worthing classic car event August 2019

HISTORY - The Austin Healey Sprite was a small two door sports car that was built from 1958-1971. Originally designed by Donald Healey it was amalgamated into the BMC conglomerate and the Mk2 became a re badged MG Midget.

The Mk1 was affectionately known as 'frogeye' and featured a 948cc engine with twin SU carburettors; the top speed was 83mph and the 0-60mph was an unbelievable slow 20.5 seconds

(We photograph and design the illustrations we use on our products. Any trade marks, or names used are for descriptive purposes only and DO NOT imply any connection with the companies involved and we have no intention of impugning their brand.)
