Full description
What could be more splendid than the two fabulous unicorns in the Scottish Coat of arms?
Each Unicorn stands on grassy hummocks, proudly displaying a Saltire, the blue and white flag of Scotland.
The large shield displays the Lion Rampant of Scotland in the traditional colours of red and yellow.
The Honours of Scotland are pictured on the topmost red lion, the Crown of Scotland is above the shield and is worn by each unicorn.
There is a lot to this design!
The design is framed by a wide thistle border in a medieval or Arts and Crafts style and is in front of a dramatic striped purple and dark blue background.
Fine details are added at the end.
This tapestry will enchant and absorb the experienced needle-worker as there is always something of interest to sew.
Make a wall-hanging, picture, pillow, footstool top.
Sewn using Counted Victorian cross stitch, no need for a frame.
