Full description
Have used a flecked clay with a bit of texture and it's actually more toasty in colour than the photos show. Tricky to show the true glaze colour too as the camera doesn't quite show it right but it's quite a Scandi blue, almost duck egg coloured glaze through which some of the flecks in the clay show. You can also see some of the lines inside where my fingers have pulled up the clay. I also love having the bottom edge of the clay exposed...great to get the feel of the clay. These are the same glaze as the bowls also on the shop. One remaining. Fired in a kiln at a stoneware temperature (c1200 degrees) makes it durable..

The glaze is lead free and food safe. You can put it in the microwave and dishwasher but some may prefer to hand wash.
