"I really wanted to capture the essence of a Hare in this sculpture. You rarely see a Hare standing still as they are always leaping and jumping with such energy. I studied the movement of Hare’s to evoke this sense of freedom and playfulness whilst accentuating its large ears and powerful legs."

Tanya Russell is a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and her sculptures are hand cast by a British foundry. Her Foundry Bronze Spring Hare statue will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and cleaning kit. This casting is a perfect recreation of the original bronze statue and bears the artists signature and its own unique edition number.
Your large bronze hare sculpture will be packaged with care and include our premium, embossed Tanya Russell certificate box and cleaning kit. The perfect collectible for garden art and wildlife fans, the Spring Hare figure will be shipped to you double wrapped for extra protection. We ensure that all our packaging is recycled or recyclable wherever possible and carbon-offset with tree planting.
How its made: Foundry Bronze refers to the poured molten metal that is cast solid or hollow, depending on size, at a bronze foundry (using the traditional lost wax process). It is more robust than Bronze Resin and will appreciate in value.
