Tropical Butterfly on Lobster Claw
A maximalist botanical tropical butterfly and jungle oil painting of a Blue Clipper butterfly on a Heliconia bract that encompasses many elements.

Red and green, optical opposites, hot and cold colours, fragile and hard surfaces and structures, spiral design and exaggerated perspective.
All emanate from the upper left quarter-circle that is disguised by its own micro design.
The sides are painted white and the work can be hung unframed. Picture hanging fittings are in place.
The painting size is 20 x 16 x 0.5 inches and painted using professional oil paints.
A certificate of Authenticity signed by myself accompanies each original and is dated and signed on the front lower right corner.
