Full description
This stunning silver chain necklace has been meticulously crafted from sterling silver links which are all handmade and securely soldered together. I created the links from different types of silver wire; the rings have different textures and slightly different shapes, some are hammered out of a perfect circle shape and others are flattened.
There are five sections of chain with a blue lampwork glass nugget bead between each, handmade by a UK glass artist. These are a deep cobalt blue with lighter blue patterns and sprinkles of silver. These beads are also slightly different to one another, adding to the unique, organic look of the necklace. The entire piece has a polished finish and fastens with a lobster clasp.
This one of a kind necklace has something different to catch your eye every time you look at it. It would make an amazing gift for anyone who loves unique artisan jewellery.
Necklace length: 53cm (21") - but can be fastened onto any of the rings after the last lampwork bead, meaning it can be worn anywhere between 18" - 21"
Silver rings: From 0.8cm (3/8"), to 1.8cm (3/4") with many more in between!
Lampwork beads: 1.5cm (5/8") diameter approx by 0.75cm (3/8") thick.
