For these beautiful lightweight earrings I have combined classic sterling silver with titanium which displays an attractive range of shades and really comes to life when the light hits it.
The colouring process makes these earrings unique and one of a kind which means that no one else will have ones that are identical.
I have hand sawed the shapes from titanium sheet and carefully finishing them before applying a hammer textured finish and colouring. I have then hung them from sterling silver chain.
The titanium and chain section measures approximately 4.7 cm long and I have hung them from sterling silver earring wires which I have also hand made.
Titanium is a hard wearing lightweight metal suitable for every day wear, however care should be taken not to scratch the surface as the colours are contained in an oxidised surface layer. Titanium doesn't tarnish however if you wish to clean it you can do so in warm soapy water, without using any abrasives and dry with a soft cloth. The sterling silver elements can be cleaned as required using silver polish or a silver cleaning cloth.
