I have a fusing kiln, I have glass, I have an addiction to making beautiful glass pieces.
I've always fancied the idea of a picture of a row of houses but not found an attractive way of making one using my more usual stained glass technique but then I remembered my lovely fusing glass and little glass kiln.
I can't paint for toffee but I love pictures and have discovered I can make just as pretty a picture using my glass and glass cutter and kiln as a painter can make with paints and a brush. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
A fused glass picture of a row of 7 little wonky houses. Sitting on the edge of a turquoise lake and surrounded by multicoloured flowers and trees and grass and a blue sky with scudding white clouds.
The base is a layer of clear glass and the picture is built up on top using coloured glass, frit, stringers, powder and millefiori.
The cottages and roofs are all different colours and the windows and door little snips of dichroic glass so they shimmer when the light is on them, just as real windows do..
Then into the kiln where it was fused all together to very high temperatures before adding to a white box frame so it can be displayed on the wall or free standing.
The picture is firmly attached to the glass front of the frame as that is where it looks at its very best.
Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.
The fused flower picture measures 13cm square and is fitted to the front of a box frame with a 15.5 aperture, 18cm square frame, 3.5cm deep.
The frame can hang from a hook from the wall or will freestand but with a little support as you can see in the photos.
It will be sent smothered with loving care in bubble wrap
The last photo shows you the glass picture itself before I framed it.
I have another similar picture 004 as a separate listing. See last photo,
