When I saw this pattern I knew I wanted to make coasters with the tiny blossoms fabrics that compliment each other so well.

This listing is for the heart coaster with lilac at the bottom, coaster number 4.
The bottom of the heart has only just been caught in the seam so a few threads were beginning to escape. It has been treated with an anti-fraying solution and is a little stiffer where the fabrics at the bottom of the heart meet. Looking at the heart from above the fault isn't noticeable.
These heart mug coasters have been made from Japanese fabric and Essex linen, using a technique called Foundation Paper Piecing.
The heart has been made from the beautiful tiny blossoms fabrics in turquoise, lilac, peach and cerise. The outside of the heart and the back are a light blue Essex linen, which is 55% linen and 45% cotton. The coaster has been padded with a high quality batting.
The coasters measure 12cm x 12cm or 4.75" x 4.75"
Care:
Hand wash in warm mild soapy water. Dry flat.
Do not iron label.
The coater will be wrapped in tissue and posted plastic free.
