Tiger's Eye is a type of quartz with a silky lustre and and flashes of chatoyancy.
The ancient Egyptians believed it expressed divine vision, and used it for the eyes of statues of deities.
Roman soldiers wore Tiger's Eye stones in battle, believing they gave alertness, clarity of mind and protection from harm.
It is still believed to enhance courage, confidence and self-esteem.
New Jade is a form of pale green Serpentine, also known as Bowenite, used by Faberge to adorn a number of his eggs.
It is believed to bring emotional cleansing, banish negative energy and attract the positive.
As with all green gemstones, it is thought to bring calm and tranquility to the wearer.

The Tiger's Eye beads have a rich, chestnut, red-brown colour, silky lustre and beautiful chatoyancy.
The New Jade beads are a very pale celery green colour, semi-translucent, with milky inclusions.
