These deep red, fiery natural garnet earrings, are designed to give the effect of a pull through earring but are infact a 5mm faceted Garnet sterling silver stud with the addition of a length of infinity chain attached to the butterfly (back of the stud) with a faceted teardrop Garnet to the end. Length 45mm Approx.
A beautiful elegant earring ideal for any age and for formal or casual occasions. The garnets really show their true red colour in sunlight or under bright indoor artificial lighting.
Garnets have long been believed to be associated with fire, passion and romance and still to this day continues to be a symbol of love. They are the birthstone for January and is also recommended as a gift for both 2nd & 6th wedding anniversary.
In the beliefs of crystal healing properties garnet is said to be a traveller's stone, in fact, many courageous discoverers and adventurers were known to wear garnet stones for protection.
