Antiqued Sterling Silver Stud Earrings with Carnelian Cabochon.
These domed disc studs are handmade from sterling silver with a rusty red coloured carnelian cabochon setting. I wanted to give these earrings a worn and rustic appearance, to create an aged quality like that of an antique family heirloom or ancient relic. I have achieved this using heat and hammer tecniques and finishing it with a patina to oxidise the silver and give it that worn, aged look.
Some areas have been polished back to reveal the silver and give a contrast to the design. They come with sterling silver earring backs/scrolls.
Size: Approx. 13mm in diameter. The carnelian is 6mm.
Shipping: 1st class post, in an eco gift box (packaging is made from recycled materials and is reusable or recyclable).
Materials: Sterling silver 925 and carnelian cabochons.
