Full description
Spring is in the air when the daffodils appear and with them comes hope for warmer days. A cheerful flower that brightens our parks and gardens so much so that we often bring these little rays of sunshine into our homes as cut flowers, but they never last long. Now you can have these happy little flowers all year long with this mini vase of handmade macrame daffodils.
Each knot on every petal is hand tied and all components to the flowers are made individually before tying together as a daffodil. A piece of florists stub wire runs through the stems making the daffodils poseable. Macrame is not a quick craft and many hours are lovingly put in to bring about this pretty little flower display.
Theses daffodils are created from my own designs and they stand in an upcycled diffuser jar which has been overlaid with an intricate pattern of macramé. All the flowers and the bottle covering have been made using Everlasto 100% cotton bakers twine from James Lever.
This is a unique handcrafted gift that is ideal for Mother's Day or St David's Day.
As they are handmade no two vases of flowers I make will be the same.
Everlasting flowers make wonderful birthday and house warming gifts to brighten the home.
This mini vase of flowers measures 22cm high. The daffodils themselves are 21.5 cm tall and the span pf the flower head is 7.5cm. The glass bottle that makes up the vase is 9.5cm tall and 5cm across the base.
