Ferns have always been a popular plant, and one of my absolute favourites. Here in Cornwall it's hard not to feel inspired by them as they burst out from most green spaces.
In the Language of Flowers, the fern is a symbol of sincerity, magic, fascination, confidence & love.
In New Zealand, the Maoris have held the fern as a symbol of strength and endurance.
It's believed to stand for new life or new beginnings, some even say eternal youth.
It's no wonder I feel drawn to them!

Full description
Sterling Silver Fern Necklace handmade using traditional Silversmith techniques.
Each leaf section is hand sawn, and the vein detail is engraved by hand.
The small fern is designed to sit delicately at the front of the neck, with the chain attached subtly from the back.
The stem has been shaped from silver wire, and is neatly soldered down the centre of the fern. At the top end, the stem curls around to the back where it is attached to the chain, and soldered shut.
This necklace has been gently oxidised to accentuate the details. The oxidised silver has a darker grey appearance with a polished finish.
This necklace has been hallmark by the London Assay Office. This assures you of the metal finesse, and contains details of when it was made, including my unique makers mark.
Chain length: 16"-18" (Adjustable via 2" extension chain tipped with a faceted Labradorite Bead).
Chain Style: Oval Link Belcher
Fastening: Bolt Ring Clasp
Silver Fern Dimensions:
