My love of cycling often takes me into the Yorkshire countryside where dry stones walls and sheep are all around. It gave me great pleasure to create this piece of art from my memories of these wonderful cycling rides

Full description
A needle felt landscape - Early Morning Sheep.
Worked using the needle felting method on a piece of reclaimed wool blanket. I started laying the wool fibres down beginning with the dark sky and added bright colours for the sunrise. Hills and fields added next using blended greens. These fibres were firmly needlefelted onto the wool banket. Black fibres for shadows and then the joy of placing the sheep. Final touches of hand embroidery details - low lights, flowers and a fence.
The wool painting will be sent in the frame shown in the photos. This is a light grey box wood frame.
Framed it measures 32 x 22 cms.
