I first made this style of necklace in a rainbow of colours using various semi-precious stones. I liked the design so much I decided to make it in individual colours, and this amethyst necklace is the first.
It is a little different as the amethyst is frosted matte, not polished to a shine. I love this contrast with the shine of the sterling silver components.

Full description
A handmade necklace, made with amazing frosted matte Amethyst beads, with sterling silver tubes, chain and clasp. Each bead is 8mm.
Spiritually, amethyst is said to be grounding, to bring tranquility and calm, and can be useful for meditation. For the yogis out there, the purple of amethyst is associated with the crown chakra, so may help to ease headaches, and insomnia, and again, keep the mind calm.
Each amethyst bead is separated by 'twisty' sterling silver tubes, and each bead has a sterling silver bead cap at either side. It is completed by a length of sterling silver chain, with a toggle clasp, and a bead 'dangle' at the back.
The necklace includes a 1.5" extension chain, and so measures between 15.5" and 17" in total.
This item is made to order, so may take up to two weeks to dispatch, much less if I have the components in stock (I usually do). Please contact me if you require the item urgently, and I will do my best!
