Part of my colourful arty bird flock, meet Norma
Each of these birds is lovingly hand made from my own pattern, then painted , they have lots of hand stitching using yarn and threads.
They all have their own knitted shawls and unique little characters.
They stand on wire legs which i have then wrapped in fabric strips
Come with a little name tag.
They all have a similar size ranging from 6- 7.5 inches high and between 9-10 inches long

I love to work in my primitive folk art style, making fabrics look aged and worn and rusting metals.
I have always collected vintage and antique and I enjoy incorporating original pieces and materials into my work.
My studio is full of jars of rusted keys, bowls of mother of pearl buttons and brown suitcases packed with antique lace and fabrics
