We love interesting and unusual fabrics that we can upcycle, the fabric itself often inspires a new project! We recently noticed that certain beaded necklaces did not seem to sell in charity shops. And voila a match made in heaven.

Beautiful and unusual fabric covered beaded necklace.
This necklace has been made with beads from a charity shop necklace and covered with fabric upcycled from a vintage headscarf. The colours are a vibrant yellow, pink, purple and torquoise. making it a match for lots of outfits.
The fabric has been stitched to form a tube to contain the beads and then knotted to hold the beads in place.
This necklace is 115cms in length. The beaded section is 35cms, leaving 80cms that can be tied so that the length is adjustable.
