TOTALLY AUTUMN
''Autumn'' is made completely from glass which has been fused in my kiln. There is no enamel, glass paint or any other materials used; this picture is 100% pure bullseye fusing glass!
'Autumn' started as a sheet of transparent bullseye glass. The trees and foreground are made from coloured glass frit, coloured glass sheet, and glassline glazes. As a finishing touch I added a little touch of sparkle by using tiny bits of metallic dichroic glass.
The final stage of creating my glass picture was the firing. 'Autumn' over a curved mould and placed in my kiln and fired overnight. To successfully fuse all the elements of this picture it was fired to 1400 F.
Length: 30 cm length. Height: 10 cm. Thickness: 6mm.
Curved length: 21 cm.
The picture is signed front bottom right.
