Full description
Three ships sailing together make a lovely sun catcher. All the glass is tumbled beach glass. The back of each sun catcher is the base of a broken bottle we found on the beach. The shape is the result of a piece being broken off the circular base of the bottle as it is tossed around. The rounded shape of the mosaic pieces gives the sun catcher a pleasing three dimensional effect.
The sun catcher is 18 cm high and 20 cm wide. It comes with a length of transparent cord.
Our sun catchers are individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each sun catcher is unique. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The sun catcher will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
