Full description
The gorgeous deep blue glass we've used for this necklace is beach glass from old bottles, like the ones in photo 4. These bottles contained poison or medicine, sometimes with information embossed on the glass. The three tumbled pieces of glass in this necklace are all a bit curved, which is typical of glass from bottles. The rest of this charming necklace is sterling silver.
The necklace is 56 cm long. The longest piece of glass is 3.5 cm long. If you would prefer a shorter or longer necklace please let us know the length you would like.
We can often make similar or matching items such as earrings, so please contact us by email if you are interested in what we can offer.
Our jewellery is individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each necklace is unique. We only use materials which have rounded edges, so we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The necklace will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
