I had a piece of Indian handprinted paper with fantastic pink, orange, red and purple colours and just had to include it in a bookbinding project and this gorgeous sketchbook is the result, the colours somehow just work together.

A hand bound coptic stitch A6 landscape watercolour sketchbook made using smooth hot press 300gsm Bockingford Watercolour paper bound with a hardback cover in pink bookcloth.
Handmade decorative paper has then been added to a section of the cover and inside the cover and to finish off, the spines of the pages have been covered in a complimentary decorative paper.
The exposed Coptic binding stitch allows the book to be opened completely flat, making it perfect for any drawing, writing and painting. An ideal present for the artist in your life.
SIZE: A6 in size approximately 15cm x 10cm x 2cm
COVER: Fuchsia bookcloth complimented with handmade decorative paper in pink and orange.
PAPER: The book has 32 Pages / 64 Sides (8 sections) of hot press 300gsm Bockingford Watercolour paper. Strips of decorative coloured paper cover the spines of the pages.
As this is a one off, it will be posted using Royal Mail 'signed for' service.
Designed and produced from my studio in Cambridgeshire UK. Handmade using traditional techniques, all notebooks, sketchbooks and journal are cut, folded, glued and sewn by hand.
