I found a pattern in a book I bought a few years ago and used the lovely luxury Falklands wool I had in my stash.

Full description
This pretty cardigan is hand knitted in a luxury 100% Falklands Islands wool.
It has a picot edging round the bottom and also on the cuffs. A cable pattern runs up the side of the front ribbed bands and it fastens with two buttons at the top.
The pattern size worked is for a 6-12 month old baby. It measures 48cm round the chest, 27 cm from shoulder to the bottom and the underarm sleeve length is 17cm.
Hand washing is recommended.
