After a brilliant time at the Uke Festival I am back and working on new designs. Keep your eyes peeled! Don't forget we love to take on your commissions so please get in touch if we can make something especially for you.
It was the yarn that gave me the idea for these. I had been making toadstools and then moved on to a set of dog scarves for my hubby's dog-walking clients and they were made in a variegated yarn. I just saw the caps in my imagination and knew I had to try it.

I know not everyone wants fungi on their Christmas tree but those people haven't seen these beauties! I have to admit I'm a little bit in love with them and will be making some for myself.
There are three sets currently available: The first have a variegated, sparkling cap in autumnal shades of orange, red, burgundy and green and a cream stalk and gills. The second set are in stylish shades of purple and misty, grey. The third are in shades of pink with very, very light grey stalk and gills.
There is a delicate loop of golden, metallic thread to hang them by, whether you put them on the tree on or a display stand. They are great for Christmas but equally lovely as part of an autumnal or harvest display.
The yarn had random colour changes and so each mushroom is different, and also random in colour, as the yarn comes fromt the ball. Each set of 3 will come from the same ball and are made at the same time to ensure they share a complementay colour pallette.
They are about 9cm high.
