Inspiration
Earlier in the year I found a small rodent skull in my garden. I was fascinated by its intricate make up. I tied it up with some feathers and hung it up in my greenhouse. Like a sort of good luck charm or talisman to help my tomatoes grow. In my strange mind anyway! There it stayed until later in the year when I decided to draw/ paint a composition of it.
I used pen to make a detailed study of the skull. I then used watercolours and coloured pencils in a looser way to add the feathers and string. I finally added the words ' Talisman' ' Charm' and 'Amulet' in scratchy ink writing together with some drips and splashes of paint and ink.

Full description
An open edition signed high quality print. The original artwork is mixed media. It is a composition painted from life featuring pheasant feathers and a small rodent skull wound together with string as a sort of talisman or charm. An original and unique piece of artwork.
Each print is professionally mounted in either a black or cream mount (please select your choice). It will be wrapped in cellophane and tissue and posted in a sturdy box.

Including the mount the print measures 305mm x 410mm (16 x 12 inches)
