Transport yourself to the tranquility of Iona and the colours of the Scottish islands with this bespoke handmade and long arm quilted single bed quilt.
Made from Lewis and Irenes Iona range - a Celtic inspired design range with a coastal twist - the soft colour palette reflects the calming colours of the island and its natural environment and has the added inspiration of the Iona Cross.
The centre section is a patchwork effect of flora and fauna interspersed with Iona checks and the Iona Cross on dark blue. The dark blue is then continued into the wide border with a binding of soft green Bumbleberry fabric. Metallic threads of silver and copper catch the eye and add a sparkle to the overall effect.
Reverse the quilt and you swim with the seals and whales of the North Seas on dark blue fabric with copper metallic detailing and Celtic designs. It is stunning.
The quilt has been professionally quilted by Lismore Quilting with an all over pattern of waves and bubbles to create the continual mesmerising movement of the sea.
High quality 100% cotton fabric and threads have been used throughout and a layer of warm, natural Quilters Dream wadding added between the layers.
Size 76 x 64 (194cm x 162cm) - this makes a very generous single bed size quilt or a throw for a double bed.
