I originally designed this as a simple white dove with words from the serenity prayer painted onto the clear background and the border in white. This is a more dramatic version with the background changed to a sunset and I also make it as a rainbow. I hope you like it.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I designed this in 2014 and I think it is quite stunning and very special.
It is a striking 'picture' of a bright white dove against a sunset background.
The picture is framed in clear glass with a gentle texture for good effect and then with a strengthening border of twisted wire.
The rainbow rays are made from the 7 different shades of sunset coloured glass with lots of streaks for movement. This contrasts quite dramatically with the whiteness of the dove which is cut from streaky white glass. .
This is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts lovely colours when it hangs in the light of a window.
It measures 16cm x 14cm and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
