Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

This print is based on photo's I took during September on a 10 mile walk around beautiful Derwentwater in the Lake District.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
This is an original reduction linocut print of the shore of Derwentwater in the Lake District, looking across the lake towards the distant Cumbrian mountains.
This is the 2nd in an edition of 10 prints. The print measures 6 inches x 6 inches and the paper is hand cut to approx. 8.2 inches x 10 inches.
I hand pressed this print using a spoon and a bamboo baren.
This artwork is printed in Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Fabriano Accademia Paper 200 gsm.
As this is a reduction print the plate was destroyed during the production of the print and so there will be no further original prints made of this design.
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
I will send the print out to you via 1st class Royal Mail Signed For Delivery or International Tracked/Signed for Delivery if sending overseas. Any other item purchased at the same time and shipped within the same package will be shipped free of charge.
