Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A pretty floral design which I wanted to make today as I've just found some really lovely new pink streaky glass and was very eager to try it. Love it.
The leaves are in iridescent so extra shiny green glass and the pink inner and outer petals a wonderful half opaque streaky pink glass. In the centre I've added a pretty green glass nugget topped with precious dichroic glass so it has a rather gorgeous shimmer.
A simple design in a ring 14cm in diameter and hanging from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.
It's framed in twisted wire for neatness and strength.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
